This role could be yours - An exciting career opportunity as Guest Service Assistant assisting in the smooth running of the hotel operation on a day-to-day basis; providing excellent guest service and developing skills in all areas of the hotel.

Shift pattern: 5 days out of 7 with 8.5 hours per shift, including weekends; a combination of early and late arrangements

Key responsibilities of our Guest Service Assistants include:

  • Ensuring that guests receive prompt and polite attention and personal recognition always
  • Checking-in guests with a warm welcome
  • Checking-out guests following the Z guest service standards
  • Developing rapport with hotel guests and creating a friendly and welcoming environment
  • Serving Hotel Guests and visitors in our Café, offering high levels of service
  • Cleaning and polishing glassware, chinaware and equipment in the Café
  • Ensuring high levels of cleanliness and tidiness in the café and reception areas
  • Maintaining positive communication with all colleagues

Skills & Experience expected of our Guest Service Assistants:

  • Previous experience in hospitality
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • A positive, can-do approach
  • Exceptional team playing skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • The ability to work on their own initiative with minimum supervision
