Our client is a boho style beach cafe and wedding venue, famous for good food and a sandy back garden, famous for surfing, along with many other outdoor and water-based activities, . This relaxed restaurant and beach bar serves up a seasonal, locally produced menu from small bites to main meals, to eat in or to grab and go to the beach. We are searching for a Head Chef who is passionate about what they do and able to lead a team.

As Head Chef you will:

• Be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen, managing and motivating the team, ensuring that ongoing training and development is offered to all members of the team
• Have solid man management and kitchen management skills
• Be a creative and talented Chef with high standards who can lead their team by example and inspire them
• Have the passion and ability to maintain a high standard of cuisine, able to adapt between high volume and a la carte offerings
• Develop the menu, using local fresh ingredients, including catering for events such as weddings, festivals and other events.
